Video Jack were among the audio-visual artists to be showcased at the “OPTRONICA – HYBRIDATIONS SONORES ET VISUELLES” exhibition @ Galerie Le Cube, Paris. The exhibition lasted from 31/1/2008 to 26/7/2008.

Trois ans après l’exposition du Cube « New sounds, new visuals » consacrée aux relations entre l’image et le son, l’exposition « Optronica – Hybridations sonores et visuelles » met en avant une génération d’artistes novateurs qui explorent cette synergie image/son et développent de nouvelles techniques et de nouveaux outils. Du vidéo scratching au remix audiovisuel, de l’art génératif aux œuvres interactives, ce programme d’installations vidéo expose les différentes tendances artistiques de la scène audiovisuelle et des musiques visuelles contemporaines.

About Galerie Le Cube:

2. Our presence at the event
Video Jack were present at the opening of the gallery, 31/1/2008. It was a very nice event, with a large amount of very interested people showing up.
I particularly enjoyed the works of Brian Kane, Addictive TV, U-Sun, Onion Lab and D.V.D. (Drums Visuals Drums).
I had a great discussion with the first 4 artists. I had already met Brian Kane and Addictive TV in the Optronica 2007 festival in London.
